Kneptune

Kneptune celebrates a building and explores a territory.

101 poems and 120 photographs range over Rotherhithe and Bermondsey, venturing across the Thames to Wapping and Limehouse and calling in at one or two pubs.

To be more precise: 40 pubs were visited within a circle of one nautical mile radius from the building. But this is not a book about pubs, although most of them need more support. Other themes range from fitness to philosophy.

New designs:

  • the tankard, a poetic form for writing in and/or about pubs
  • the kafkard, for cafes

three forms of concrete poetry inspired by a building:

  • the kneptune
  • the climber
  • the condode
